Believe: All Things Are Possible

Have you ever heard the expression “Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will”? How true is this? So often we don’t succeed because of what we believe. We get stuck in that negative cycle and try to figure it all out. When we can’t explain how something works, we assume that it won’t work for us. That is usually when we quit and guarantee our failure.
But what if we believed— wholeheartedly that it was possible? In my life, before God would take me to the next level, I had to believe. Before my books were published, I had to take a firm stand and trust that it would happen. Once I changed my mindset, it happened.

Standing in that place of uncertainty, however, was not beneficial to me. We need to stop trying to stand on both sides. It is either yes or no—there is no maybe. When we choose maybe, then we give our enemy and opportunity to magnify our doubts. He wants us to quit. Because he knows that if we put our heart into it, he doesn’t stand a chance against us. That is why he tries to defeat us with doubt.

In order to serve God and do His work, we have to walk by faith. There will be times when things won’t go right, times when we will want to quit, and times when none of it will make sense.  It is during these times that we have to pray and trust God to see us through.

Matthew 17:20 (KJV)
20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

If we put in the work, God will provide the increase. And the best part is that He doesn’t just expect us to figure it all out ourselves. He wants us to be willing to do whatever He puts on our hearts and trust  Him to do what is best for us.

Love and blessings,

Candida
